A Tuesday in a tenth-grade classroom
A history teacher sets Ichnus to Socratic mode before a research unit begins, so when a student asks it to just write the essay, it asks what their thesis is instead. The same student uses it that evening to work through a confusing primary source, and it tells them plainly when it isn't sure how a 19th-century phrase was meant.
The teacher's own use looks different: drafting three tiers of a worksheet for different reading levels in the time it used to take to write one, and turning a parent email that took twenty minutes into a two-minute edit. Neither use requires a school to buy a license or negotiate a contract.

Getting started
Teachers can start by using Ichnus the way their students would, then set classroom controls. We publish guides for schools in the documentation, and the community council includes educators who help us test classroom features.
Everything on this page is part of the Curos concept project. There is no real program, and the scenarios above are illustrations of how a free, non-profit assistant could serve each audience.
